About Me
I am currently an associate professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Pittsburgh. I obtained my PhD from the Department of Statistics at UC Davis in June 2012, and I got my BS degree from the School of Mathematical Sciences, Peking University, China , in June 2007.
Research Interest
My statistical methodological work focuses on functional data analysis and network modeling. Recent work includes variance and covariance analyses for multi-way functional data, repeatedly/longitudinally observed functional data and relevant hypothesis testing, model based network estimation and inference.
My applied work focuses on statistical methods for translational neuroscience in mental health studies, including network modeling for brain functional connectivity study, mixed model analysis for various longitudinal designs, regression, clustering and classification for trajectories of symptoms and biomarkers.
