The Department of Statistics will offer in-person and online tutoring for the Fall Term beginning Tuesday, September 21st.
Statistics Tutoring serves all students in introductory statistics classes (200, 800, 1000 and 1100). Students may also seek assistance with statistics software packages (Minitab and Excel) as well as homework problems. Tutoring services are available Monday through Friday from 9am – 7pm EST. Assistance is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Only 1-on-1 30-minute tutoring sessions are available. To receive help, book an appointment here.
Statistics Online Tutoring Guidelines:
You may book an appointment no more than 10 days in advance.
If there is a specific topic you'd like to work on, please note it in the details section of the booking page.
Once your request is submitted, the appointment will be added to your Outlook calendar. You also have the option to receive text reminders by entering your phone number on the booking page.
If you opt for a virtual meeting, the link to the virtual room is provided in the confirmation email after booking the appointment. In-person meetings are held in the Stat Lab, 1201 Posvar Hall.
